AWARD WIN · APRIL 2026
Tenax ai wins the ClimateTech Connect 2026 pitch competition

Selected from six global finalists before 500+ insurance, finance, policy, and technology leaders in Washington, D.C.
THE WIN
Prevention over payout
At a conference built around climate risk as a business risk, Tenax ai's pitch landed squarely in the center of the conversation. Co-founder Elyse Myrans (CEO) presented a computer vision platform that turns drone and mobile imagery into verifiable, property-level risk data — helping insurance carriers, MGAs, and E&S writers make precise underwriting decisions with up to 80% greater efficiency.
The pitch competition was presented by Juan Mazzini, Global Head of Celent, and sponsored by Celent, Miami Insurtech Advocates Hub, and Switch Pitch.
"People here see through the lens of climate risk, the intersection of climate and insurance, so coming into a space where the focus is on prevention over payout truly sets ClimateTech Connect apart. It's less about platitudes, and more about what we can actually do about the risks we are facing as businesses, and how we work together."
Elyse Myrans, Co-Founder and CEO, Tenax ai
