Across the country, homeowners face growing extreme weather exposure without clear, trusted guidance. Insurers face an accelerating data problem: the gap between what they need to know about a property and what existing data sources can tell them has never been wider.

We built a computer vision platform that converts ground-truth property imagery into verified, property-specific risk intelligence — actionable for the homeowner, defensible for the underwriter, scalable for the enterprise. We started with wildfire. Wind, flood, hail, and storm are next.

Tenax ai is led by a team combining deep expertise in environmental science, behavioral psychology, and applied machine learning. Together, Elyse and Arun bring the rare blend of domain insight and technical execution required to translate real-world property conditions into scalable, defensible wildfire risk intelligence for the insurance industry.

Elyse Myrans

Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Elyse's background spans environmental science, behavioral psychology, and senior operational leadership in fintech. That combination shapes everything about how Tenax ai is built — rigorous data, decision-science design, and workflow integration that works in practice.

She holds a BSc in Natural Resources Conservation and an MSc in Psychological and Behavioural Science. Outside of work, she's usually skiing, lifting, or somewhere off the beaten path.

Arun Kishore Ramakrishnan

Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer

Arun is a machine learning architect with a Master's and PhD in Applied Machine Learning. His work sits at the intersection of computer vision, predictive modeling, and scalable AI systems — exactly the technical foundation Tenax ai's property intelligence platform requires.

Before co-founding Tenax ai, he led product and AI development at an insurtech company in the telematics space.
